CONVERGYS Philippines Services Corp. will put up its 15th call center facility in Cebu.
In a release, the Cincinnati, Ohio-based business process outsourcing (BPO) company said its upcoming site will be located at the Queen City of the South.

The new location will be placed at the TGU Tower in Asiatown IT Park, Cebu City, and will be the firm’s fourth in that city.

This recent announcement came about only weeks after the statement of a construction of the company’s 14th facility in the country, which will rise at Camp John Hay Special Economic Zone in Baguio City, has begun.

Currently, Convergys has 13 active contact centers in the Philippines: eight in Metro Manila, three in Cebu City, and one each in Bacolod City and Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

Convergys claims it is the biggest and largest private employer in the country, with more than 20,000 on its payroll. They are bent to increase this to 30, 000 strong employees this year. With these current updates, it further solidifies the current workforce of the best call center in the Philippines.
